At Solutions 2014, the four concurrent workshop tracks are just the beginning. Choose a track as your focus, then supplement your learning with interdisciplinary sessions to expand your housing knowledge, attend sessions designed to offer housing solutions for special populations including older adults and veterans, see housing come alive aboard one of four mobile workshops touring innovative Oakland communities, and become part of the panel at roundtable discussions. Tie it all together at our plenary sessions with all-star speakers to put your learning in context. With networking sessions, exhibits, receptions and a cyber café, you’ll never pass a dull moment.
Formed in 1931, the nonprofit National Housing Conference is dedicated to helping ensure safe, decent and affordable housing for all in America. As a division of NHC, the Center for Housing Policy specializes in solutions through research, working to broaden understanding of America’s affordable housing challenges and examine the impact of policies and programs developed to address these needs. Through evidence-based advocacy for the continuum of housing, NHC develops ideas, resources and policy solutions to shape an improved housing landscape.
