A Meaningful Place for All
December 8 – 10, 2005
Alexandria, Virginia
National and community service programs have made commendable progress over the past ten years in recruiting, supporting, and engaging individuals with disabilities as active members in national and community service programs.
This conference will bring the disability and national service communities together to:
– Celebrate 10 years of disability inclusion in national service
– Reflect upon the successes and challenges of the past ten years
– Identify, share, and strategize about innovative practices that improve the inclusion of individuals with disabilities in national service
– Build practices and procedures that ensure ongoing progress as we move into the future
Anyone can give back to his or her community. Join us as we work to ensure that everyone has the opportunity.
Further details will be posted at http://www.serviceandinclusion.org. Watch for a brochure and registration information.
