As child-serving professionals and child advocates unite within CWLA, we secure brighter futures through top-notch local agency programs in the context of committed communities. Lifting up proven best practices is one of the things that CWLA does best, but even the best programs will be ineffective without broad-based, continuing support. To sustain our efforts, we depend on good policy and good partners. We convene this conference here in the nation’s capitol every year because policy, practice, and partnerships are essential to secure brighter futures for our children.
