We wanted to pass along some information about the upcoming National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) conference, occurring April 18-21 in Washington, DC. If you haven’t registered or seen the agenda yet, you can find all the latest information on our new conference web site:

Some highlights of the conference include:

Shaun Donovan, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development speaks on Friday, April 20 at 8:15am.

Richard Cordray, Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau speaks on Wednesday, April 18 at 12:30pm.

Just announced:
“Serving and Protecting America’s Consumers” a question and answer session with top Consumer Financial Protection Bureau directors, including:

* Patrice Ficklin, Assistant Director for Fair Lending;
* Peggy Twohig, Esq., Assistant Director for Non-bank Supervision;
* Hubert “Skip” Humphrey III, Assistant Director of the Office of Older Americans;
* Zixta Q. Martinez, Assistant Director for Community Affairs; and
* Jesse Leary, Deputy Assistant Director of Research.

This session will take place Wednesday, April 18, 3:30-5:00pm.

On Wednesday, April 18 at 7pm we will be joined by Eugene Ludwig, former Comptroller of the Currency, who will speak during our Chairman’s Reception. We expect to announce more exciting speakers soon.
