National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy Invites Nominations for 2014 NCRP Impact Awards
DEADLINE: MARCH 1, 2014
The National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy is inviting nominations for the 2014 NCRP Impact Awards. Now in its second year, the awards program celebrates foundations of all shapes and sizes that have demonstrated leadership, an ability to innovate, and a commitment to solving the country’s toughest problems.
The program recognizes and honors grantmakers practicing high-impact philanthropy in four categories: large private foundation (annual giving of $25 million or more); small/mid-sized private foundation (annual giving less than $25 million); corporate foundation (any size), and grantmaking public charity (any size -– this category includes community foundations, United Ways, public foundations, and other types of grantmaking public charities).
Eligible foundations include grantmaking organizations (not individuals) that are maximizing the effectiveness of their philanthropy by attacking the root causes of social problems, empowering underserved communities, and improving the sector as a whole through their public leadership.
Awardees will be honored during a reception at the Council on Foundations’ annual conference in Washington, D.C., in June.
For complete program guidelines, nomination instructions, and information about 2013 award recipients, see the NCRP Web site.
