Join us at the National Housing Center in Washington, DC this June 20-22, 2011
National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development (CAPACD)
This year’s convention theme, “Building the Future: Investing in Social Capital and Community-Based Leadership,” reflects the ongoing and urgent need to build the human and social infrastructure that will help make America prosper. Even in a period of downsizing and budget constraints we need to continue mobilizing communities to support pre-school education, grow job skills, preserve affordable housing, and strengthen local economies. Our convention will share innovative practices and new ideas on how community based organizations, working with both the public and private sectors, continue to invest in our shared future.
