National Black Male Educators Convening
Posted by The Fellowship on September 10, 2018
WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN US FOR BMEC 2018
Today, Black Men represent only 2% of the teachers nationwide. This is a national problem that demands a national response.
Join us in the fight for education equity as we meet to advance policy, hear from experts and amplify the voices of Black male educators from the classroom to the community.
ALL ARE WELCOME.
The fight for teacher diversity and inclusion has been expanding and reached a crescendo in the past year. The Fellowship, BMEC’s national convening is the convergence point of one of the most important social justice issues of our time. At National BMEC, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with a dynamic range of creative change-makers confronting narratives towards representation, programming for youth development, as well as inclusion and teacher diversity
