National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures Conference
Posted by on September 10, 2012
The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures (NALAC) will be holding its national conference October 17-21 in Philadelphia. The NALAC conference is the only national convening of the Latino arts and culture field.
This is it. Seizing the Moment Now in Philadelphia. This October begins a new opportunity for critical professional training, leadership, networking, and national exposure for Latino artists and arts professionals across the country.
Every two years we meet to share knowledge and resources to strengthen the Latino arts and culture community. We strategize, collaborate and use the research NALAC has compiled for the Latino arts and culture community to build the capacity of the arts community across the nation.
The NALAC national conference weaves together the diverse participants together and highlights thriving Latino artistic communities across the United States. Conference participants and speakers share their knowledge, resources, and strategies; create new relationships; plan artistic collaborations and organizational partnerships; and reaffirm or alter the field’s national agenda.
