Another great national conference is coming up in affordable Louisville, KY !

NAA Conference 2006

The National AfterSchool Association Annual Conference will continue to be the premier national conference for the afterschool professional community. A wide selection of best practice workshops is combined this year with four, topically-focused Forums. There will be an open session on Public Policy and Advocacy, three Endorser Refreshers, a choice of 21 Program Site Visits, social events, a celebration luncheon, and more exhibits. The Conference will be three days of information-packed, energy-producing, problem-solving sessions and opportunities.

New this year are the NAA Forums: Taking the Bold Steps: Building Professional Development Systems, The Joys and Challenges of Middle-schoolers, School and District Leaders, and Experienced Leaders

STEDMAN GRAHAM
The Conference Keynote will be delivered by Stedman Graham, New York Times best-selling author, educator, and businessman.

Those attending the Middle School Forum’s General Session will be hearing from Linda Perlstein, author of the popular book of insight into the lives of middle-schoolers, “Not Much, Just Chillin.”
