NASD Investor Education Foundation to Support Programs for Young Adults
Deadline: April 13, 2005
The NASD Investor Education Foundation (<a href="http://www.nasdfoundation.org/">http://www.nasdfoundation.org/</a>), established in 2003 by NASD, supports educational programs and research with the goal of providing investors with high-quality, easily accessible information and tools to better understand investing and the markets.
The foundation invites eligible organizations to submit grant proposals for research projects and/or educational programs that empower young adults, ages 18-24, who are about to enter the workforce to better prepare for their initial investment decisions and investing goals, including retirement.
Most IRS-designated 501(c)(3) organizations and nonprofit colleges and universities are eligible to apply. Grant proposals should involve strategic collaboration with partners on a national, regional, or multi-institutional level.
For complete details, proposal submission instructions, and information on other foundation grant opportunities, see the NASD Investor Education Foundation Web site.
