Philadelphia Child Care Centers Invited to Apply for Museums to Go Program
Deadline: January 15, 2009
The Terri Lynne Lokoff Child Care Foundation (http://tllccf.org/) is accepting applications for the Lois B. Cohan Museums to Go program.
The program annually provides inner-city child care centers in Philadelphia with funding to bring an age-appropriate cultural program from outstanding local museums to the classroom. The TLLCCF will provide grants of up to $500 each for a cultural program from its list of pre-approved participating museums and institutions.
To be eligible to apply, the applicant must be a nonprofit, non-sectarian child care program in operation and licensed for a minimum of five years. Centers must serve preschool-age children (infant to five years of age), and must be open for a minimum of ten hours a day and operate twelve months a year to accommodate working families.
See the TLLCCF Web site for complete eligibility requirements and list of participating museum programs.
