muraLAB featuring Amanda Lovelee
Posted by Mural Arts Philadelphia on July 10, 2017
Tuesday, July 11, 2017, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Center/Architecture + Design, 1218 Arch Street
Amanda Lovelee is the City Artist for St. Paul, Minnesota. Her residency is a collaboration of the City of St. Paul and Public Art Saint Paul, an independent arts organization. Lovelee acts as translator between the city’s government and its residents, with the goal of building a city everyone wants to live in. She focuses on civic engagement through projects such as Pop Up Meeting—a city popsicle truck—and Urban Flower Field—a vacant lot turned gathering space and live science project. RSVP.
muraLAB is a program of Mural Arts Philadelphia and funded by the Ford Foundation. This event is part of an ongoing series sponsored by Mural Arts Philadelphia and the Community Design Collaborative that explores community participation through art and design projects.
