The Development Manager works closely with the executive director and Board of Directors to sustain and increase funding from public and private entities as well as individuals. The Development Manager coordinates all aspects of the organization?s fundraising efforts, including developing strategies for individual donor solicitation; identifying major gifts prospects; preparing grant proposals and reports; seeking corporate giving; and coordinating special events. The Development Manager also assists with public relations and communications. Must have 4 or more years of experience in non-profit fundraising and Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. The Director of Programs will oversee all daily programmatic operations for agency programs, including the Syringe Exchange Program, Streetside Health Project, Prevention Services Program, Trans-health Information Project, and Criminal Records Resolution Project. The Director of Programs will be responsible for assuring a Harm Reduction approach to all service provision in the agency, and will be responsible for training staff and collaborating agencies on harm reduction practices and theories. Candidates must have a Masters degree in Social Work or related field; have a demonstrated commitment to advocacy and social justice, particularly as related to HIV/AIDS, gender-justice, poverty, homelessness, and harm reduction; and 5 years supervisory experience.

The Social Worker performs a variety of services including individual counseling, case management, and service brokerage on behalf of clients accessing the Street-Side Health Project clinics. Counsels and provides guidance to individual clients (and partners or families) regarding social, medical and/or psychiatric issues. Health education and skills building interventions with clients are included in the scope of work. Must have a Master’s degree in Social Work or related field and 1-2 years experience in the field of health care.

Must have professional and efficient work habits and 2 or more years work experience in general comparable administrative functions.
