Multiple Cultures, Multiple Voices: Effectively Educating All Children

Penn State Harrisburg and the Pennsylvania Department of Education in partnership with the Center for Schools and Communities are sponsoring a three-day English as a Second Language conference Multiple Cultures, Multiple Voices: Effectively Educating All Children will be held at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg East on June 18-20, 2007.
The conference will offer research-based tools, strategies and resources to strengthen the education of English Language learners through cross-system programs, services and partnerships. Learn about current trends and cutting-edge research in language instruction. The cost for the entire conference is $25 per person which includes registration fees, sessions and conference-related meals. Limited parent scholarships and child care stipends are available on a first come basis. Act 48 professional development credits will be offered.
