Join us in hip-storic Old City, Philadelphia for the first annual painting of Y PHILLY – An Identity Mural by Philadelphia?s Youth Generation

WHAT
MYX: Multicultural Youth eXchange & The International Visitors Council Of Philadelphia invite all Philadelphians between the ages of 9 – 24 (the Generation Y of Philadelphia) to capture the spirit of their city and their youth culture through the creation of Y PHILLY, a youth identity mural. In 2004, the Y PHILLY mural will be presented as a gift to the people of Incheon, Korea one of Philadelphia?s Sister cities.

No particular artistic skills are required ?just an interest in expressing yourself on canvas with images or words. Art supplies will be provided at the gallery but feel free to bring your own.

Everyone else is invited to enjoy the party.

*Chorale Performance by the Philadelphia Boys Choir

*Multicultural Youth Performers courtesy of S.A.G.E Productions, a talent resource that promotes social awareness, youth development and assistance for the underprivileged.

*Soul & Latin Lounge by jCharvet

*8:00 PM. Sports Raffle Drawing. Including a Family Fun Pack courtesy of the Philadelphia Phantoms and autographed memorabilia courtesy of Philadelphia?s Phillies, Flyers and KiXX. Tickets are $1 each or seven for $5. You must be present to win.
