The Multicultural Youth eXchange invites your students to join a unique peer-to-peer program in COSTA RICA this summer!
THE ART OF COMMUNITY SERVICE
Isla De Chira EUR Costa Rica
TEAM 1: June 27 – July 12, 2005
TEAM 2: July 18 – August 2, 2005
The Art of Community Service program is an arts-based residency program that lets American high school students collaborate on a community-enhancing art project with foreign teens their own age. Working alongside a professional artist/team leader, the art project forms the basis for dialogue, insight into respective cultures and the development of new friendships.
** Collaborate with Costa Rican youth in a community art project!
** Live with a Costa Rican family!
** Gain a first-hand understanding of Costa Rican culture!
** Visit rainforests, volcanoes and many other beautiful natural sites in Costa Rica on a six-night, post-service program tour!
** Make a difference in the local community!
