Job Description for Center for Public Health Initiatives (CPHI) and MPH Program Project Coordinator
• Maintain of the CPHI website. Act as a liaison between the CPHI office and the website design team based at the Medical School.
• Work with the CPHI Managing Director to design, script, assemble and disseminate a semi-annual CPHI newsletter as well as a bi-weekly digest.
• Develop and disseminate marketing materials for CPHI events.
• Work with the CPHI Managing Director and other key faculty and staff in the formatting and assembly of grant proposals and other related administrative materials
• Act as the primary contact for CPHI and arrange all conference calls. Participate in mailings and promotional activities as needed.
• Assist CPHI staff in preparing for key meetings, retreats and conferences, which may include coordinating essential services and conducting meeting planning activities, coordinating necessary contracts, maintaining RSVP lists, preparing and distributing meeting materials, and hosting events as needed.
• Schedule CPHI -related meetings. In doing so, utilize and maintain the CPHI list-serve
• Assist faculty and staff with telephone and written correspondence.
• Type, photocopy, or fax administrative information as needed.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining an accurate filing system and database information related to the CPHI Programs.
• Receive, open, sort and distribute CPHI administrative office mail in a timely manner.
• Greet visitors and guests.
For the MPH Program
• Provide administrative coordination for the MPH capstone field placements. This will entail fulfilling the administrative functions associated with communications between the community site and the program office and maintaining the requisite documentation for field placements.
• Assist with researching MPH capstone opportunities and cataloguing new and existing capstone opportunities
• Provide course support for the capstone seminar course by assisting with the blackboard course site, scheduling and coordinating guest speakers, and other related duties as assigned.
