Join us for the unveiling of Motivos magazine’s Fall 2017 ‘Belonging’ edition at Esperanza College!
** We are launching our fall edition through a series of events this fall. One will be Oct. 10th, 5:30-7:30 pm at Cristo Rey HS. Then this one on Oct. 27th at Esperanza College. Finally our annual ‘Meet the Authors’ event at Taller Puertorriqueno on Nov. 11th from 3-5 PM. You are invited to ALL!
Networking starts from 5:30 pm, program from 5:50 pm. Ends at 7:30 PM
Food, networking, panel discussion and prizes.
Bring cash for 50/50 raffle and silent auction/raffle to support scholarship funds for Motivos youth and Esperanza College students!
What’s going on at the launch?
Professional panel: Hear from those who’ve made their mark in their field even when they were one of few ‘women’ ‘immigrants’ ‘Latinos’ in that profession. We’ll hear from those in Science, Engineering, Law and Theology.
Awards: Youth published in this edition and those selected as Motivos Fall 2017 Inspirations in Our Community will be honored.
Raffle: 50/50 raffle to support Motivos and Esperanza College students as they hone their skills and pursue their dreams!
Vendors: We have space to host six vendors at this creative & socially conscious event. Sign attendees up for your enrichment programs, after-school progams, internships, employment opportunities and more! Just $35 for a table. Purchase via link.
**This event is free to attend for all subscribers, advertisers, sponsors of Motivos magazine and all Estudents and Esperanza College staff and students. Otherwise, suggested contribution at door of $5 for students, $10 for adults includes 50/50 raffle tickets. Future subscribers can sign up online or at door for just $12 which will garner you free admission to this and future quarterly launch parties for one year in addition to your subscription! We appreciate any and all additional contributions toward cost of after-school youth programming and training for Motivos Youth Advisory Board and Esperanza College students.
