Mining the Census Workshop

Workshop focuses on using census data
The Federation of Neighborhood Centers is offering a Mining the Census Workshop designed for executive, operating, development and other senior management and program staff to access the information agencies need when drafting letters of intent, proposals or just to determine the demographic information about their constituents, the neighborhoods they live in and geographical areas of service.
The way this information can be accessed on the new Census 2010 website has changed from the 2000 census and is a bit more complicated than before.
This session, conducted by an Information Services Specialist from the Census Bureau will be a hands on demonstration for indentified staff to help understand the new process.
The workshop will take place on Wednesday, February 8th from 10am to 2pm, at 1528 Walnut Street, #200, in Philadelphia.
