Migrant Education Program Fundraising and Development Consultant – Feb 13
Posted by Chester County Intermediate Unit on January 13, 2026
The Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) serves thousands of students and families across the region, many of whom face significant financial barriers to accessing essential educational resources. CCIU programs—including Migrant Education, ELECT (Young Parents Program), and Homeless Outreach—provide critical support to vulnerable learners and their families.
TrustEd is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to support CCIU programs through philanthropic fundraising. As public funding for several programs faces reductions or elimination, TrustEd provides an opportunity to bridge gaps through private grants and donor engagement. However, TrustEd currently lacks the strategic infrastructure needed to pursue these opportunities effectively.
CCIU seeks a fundraising and development consultant to build a strategic framework that will enable TrustEd to pursue private philanthropic opportunities and secure sustainable funding for asset-limited families and underfunded programs. This framework must be practical, replicable, and designed for CCIU staff to own and implement independently after the consultant’s engagement ends.
The selected consultant will work primarily independently with periodic reporting to CCIU leadership and the TrustEd Board of Directors. The anticipated budget for this engagement is approximately $5,000, with some flexibility based on the consultant’s proposed scope and approach.
All submissions due by Friday, February 13, 2026.
