Michigan Journal of Community Service Learning Special Offer
Posted by on March 7, 2003
To celebrate the release of Volume 9 Number 2 of the Michigan Journal of Community Service Learning (MJCSL), we are offering the following special:
Submit a new subscription (via the web page – http://www.umich.edu/~mjcsl/) for Volume 9 ($16.00 individual, $22.00 institutional) by April 15, 2003, and receive a complimentary copy of the “Service-Learning Course Design Workbook” (a $12.00 value). More than 6,000 copies of this 64-page workbook in circulation make it amongst the most widely-circulated service-learning publications in history.
As part of your volume 9 subscription, you will receive the fall 2002 and winter 2003 issues as well as a complimentary copy of a special, theme-based issue on “Community-Based Research,” funded by the Bonner Foundation, in May/June, 2003.
Abstracts for volume 9 number 1 may be viewed at the MJCSL web page, and the lead article, “Factors that Motivate and Deter Faculty Use of Service-Learning,” by Elisa Abes, Golden Jackson, and Susan Jones (Ohio State University), may be downloaded from the web page.
Currently there are 1750 subscribers to this national, peer-reviewed journal devoted to curriculum-based service-learning in higher education.
Thank you.
