Mentors Needed, Mastery Charter School
Posted by on October 13, 2008
Mastery Charter Schools is seeking mentors to participate in its Internship Program, which challenges students to connect academic and personal skills to real world experiences.
Through internships, students learn to meet the demands of the professional world and to demonstrate the skills needed for post secondary learning and workplace achievement.
Participation in the 18-week program is required of the school’s students in order to graduate. Mentorship provides an opportunity to give back to young leaders and can prove to be a valuable tool for your organization. Internships are Wednesday afternoons from 1-5pm. To learn more, email Amanda Neill at Amanda.neill@masterycharter.org or call 215-922-1902, ext. 2110.
