Esperanza seeks a candidate for the position of Training Coordinator for the Mentoring Program in our National Division. The Training Coordinator reports to the Project Director and is responsible for the program training design, implementation of training and support to site directors in eight cities across the United States. Essential duties and skills include:
Collaboration with the Project Director and VP of National Programs to develop training material for the project using various sources of material and best practice literature for mentoring programs for at risk Latino youth in various environments
Coordination and execution of training sessions with site directors and staff
Evaluation of direct training to site directors
Management of training records for training and technical assistance provided to subcontracted agencies as well as local clients, for the project in collaboration with the Data Coordinator
Interaction with site directors on training issues to determine appropriate training methods
