Fahs-Beck Fund for Research and Experimentation Seeks Applications for Mental Health Research
The Fahs-Beck Fund for Research and Experimentation is accepting applications for behavioral or psychological research studies from investigators based in the United States or Canada.
Through its Faculty/Post-Doctoral Fellows program, the fund will award grants of up to $20,000 to studies aimed at developing, refining, evaluating, or disseminating innovative interventions designed to prevent or ameliorate significant social, psychological, behavioral, or public health problems affecting children, adults, couples, families, or communities. The fund will also consider studies that have the potential for adding significantly to the knowledge about such problems. Projects must focus on populations in the United States or Canada or on a comparison between the U.S. and Canada and one or more countries.
To be eligible, applicants must be a faculty member of an accredited college or university or an individual affiliated with an accredited human service organization that is considered tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. In addition, the principal investigator must have earned a doctorate in a relevant discipline and relevant experience.
