Men Can Rally

On October 1st at 11AM Lutheran Settlement House will host a MEN CAN Rally in LOVE Park to encourage men to stand up to inter-partner and family violence. The rally is the culminating event of an annual public awareness campaign led by LSH’s Bilingual Domestic Violence Department. This year, Fox29’s Mike Jerrick will be the recipient of the Men Can Community Advocate Award for his extensive work done in promoting domestic violence awareness. There will be free food provided by Frankford Hall and La Colombe as well as spoken word and live musical performances. Speakers include local activists, politicians, professionals, and more.
