Member Services Manager, Sustainable Business Network

Posted by Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia on August 10, 2015

The Sustainable Business Network is a membership organization for locally-owned businesses committed to using their businesses not just to generate profit, but to make positive impacts on people and the environment. Our mission is to transform the Philadelphia region’s economy into one that is green, thriving, and socially-just, by advancing and supporting a growing base of local businesses, and educating policy-makers and the general public. As it approaches the end of its strategic planning process, and looks excitedly towards its future, SBN seeks team members to lead its efforts to attract and serve members, and to push forward policy changes critical to creating a more local and sustainable economy in the Philadelphia region. Both of these positions are instrumental to SBN’s ability to achieve impact, and require enthusiastic, committed team members with the ability to lead and inspire others.

SBN Member Services Manager

The Member Services Manager position is responsible for leading SBN’s Membership Department. This includes responsibility for delivering high-level customer service to current members, identifying and attracting new members, managing event planning and implementation, and guiding SBN’s communication function. The Member Services Manager will carry out this work under the guidance of SBN’s Executive Director, and following the priorities identified in SBN’s strategic plan. This staff person will supervise one full-time staff position, SBN’s Membership Associate, will receive assistance from SBN’s Office Manager, and will coordinate with the other members of the SBN staff team.
