Remembering Childhood:
Meet the Authors, Hear Their Stories
March ? April 2006
A series of events that brings writers and authors to Rutgers University Camden Campus to share their perspectives on childhood as reflected in their work.
The first event features Kirsten Smith, screenwriter & young adult author. Kirsten Smith is perhaps best known for co-writing the comedies Legally Blonde, 10 Things I Hate About You, Ella Enchanted and the upcoming Dirty Little Secret, starring Amanda Bynes. Smith?s first book, The Geography of Girlhood, is a novel-in-poems, set for publication in March 2006 by Little, Brown about a girl navigating the difficult limbo between youth and adulthood.
