Medic outreach team provides health resources, community EMS trainings

Neighborhood groups interested in health, wellness, and emergency medical services (EMS) are encouraged to reach out to the Philadelphia Fire Department for free resources and training.
Our Community Risk Reduction (CRR) team provides education on multiple medical topics with an emphasis on preventing emergencies.
Trainings can be scheduled in community centers, with civic organizations, or at public events. The CRR set-up features a resource table staffed by experienced paramedics and/or emergency medical technicians (EMTs). Our members can perform blood pressure evaluations, answer questions about medical issues, distribute Narcan kits, and offer literature on various healthy lifestyle topics.
