DRN offers media webinar
The Disability Rights Network is offering a free online workshop on media advocacy on Tuesday, January 28th from 10am to 12:30pm.
Most people get their information and often form opinions based on reports from the news media – newspapers, television and radio. Successful advocacy groups know how to work with the media to deliver their messages and educate members of their communities, as well as policy makers and key decision makers.
At the webinar, Marie Yeager, an Emmy Award winning television news producer and communications consultant, will help workshop participants learn to use media to attain their goals.
Participants can view the webinar on their own computers or by visiting Vision for Equality, 718 Arch Street, 6N, in Philadelphia, or the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit at 1605 W. Main Street in Norristown.
