Empowering STEM McKinney Center STEM Conference (Sponsored by GSK)
GlaxoSmithKline will once again host a one-day McKinney STEM Conference this spring. The conference will be on Monday, April 8th, at GSK offices in the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Eighty middle and high school Philadelphia public, archdeacon, charter, and private school classroom teachers will be invited to participate in keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and networking. The conference will be FREE to all attendees. For SDP teachers, the Philadelphia School District will commit to providing 50 substitute teachers to allow 50 public school teachers to attend. All eligible attendees will be able to receive Act 48 credits.
