Mayor’s Day of Service Recognition: Service Fair- Sep 29
Posted by City of Philadelphia on September 15, 2020
You are invited to attend year’s virtual Mayor’s Day of Service Recognition award ceremony and service fair on September 29, 2020. The service fair will be 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
The Mayor’s Office of Civic Engagement and Volunteer Service hosts these awards to honor people who have made a positive impact in their communities through national and volunteer service. This year they’re also paying special thanks to everyone who volunteered and stepped up to support Philadelphia’s response to COVID-19.
Before the award ceremony, there will be a virtual service fair where you can chat with representatives from local organizations to learn about their volunteer opportunities (no camera needed).
All in all, it will be an uplifting, celebratory evening for us to come together and celebrate volunteers and community leaders in Philadelphia.
