Mayoral Summits on Out-of-School Time
Posted by on August 06, 2012
September 11 & September 21. Mayoral Summits on Out-of-School Time. These events will inform mayors and municipal leaders about the importance and need for OST opportunities for Pennsylvania’s children and youth; which includes before school, afterschool, weekends and summer programs. Key stakeholders will have the opportunity to hear from national and state Out-of-School Time (OST) leaders and peers about how to strengthen afterschool opportunities, build or expand partnerships, and use OST programming to address key challenges for youth and families in their communities. Participants will forge a strong network of local champions poised to help influence state policy and funding for OST; and develop partnerships that enable city and state leaders to share best practices and improve policies at both levels of government. Please check at http://PSAYDN.org for details.
