Mayor and County Recognition Day for National Service Ceremony

On Tuesday, April 5th, 2016, Mayor Jim Kenney will join over 2,800 Mayor and County Officials across the country for the 4th Annual Mayor and County Recognition Day for National Service.
The City of Philadelphia presents the Mayor’s Award for Distinguished National Service, which will be held in the Mayor’s Reception Room (Room 202) in City Hall at 4PM.
You are cordially invited to the attend this event to support the wonderful people and projects impacting Philadelphia through National Service.
Mayor Kenney will announce the winners of the fourth annual City of Philadelphia ~ Mayor’s Award for Distinguished National Service to an outstanding:
- AmeriCorps member
- Senior Corps volunteer
- Alum of AmeriCorps
- Alum of Peace Corps
- Group Service Project
Please remember this event will begin promptly at 4 PM and seating for this event is limited and is first come, first serve.
