Math, Engineering & Science Achievement (MESA) kickoff

October 3 from 9-3p Temple’s College of Engineering will host it’s Math, Engineering & Science Achievement (MESA) kickoff, offering up to 8 hours of Act 48 credit for middle and high school teachers who want to introduce a highly engaging, award winning science and engineering curriculum in their classrooms or after-school. Sparkfun electronics will join our faculty and students for a full day of hands-on fun. You’ll leave with the skills to guide your students as they build a functioning prosthetic device for less than $50! Registration is $150, includes lunch, a FREE MESA kit and the national interdisciplinary curriculum. All teaching levels and backgrounds are welcome. Up to 30 teachers.
