Marketing and Public Relations Manager, Rosenbach Museum

The Rosenbach Museum & Library seeks a creative, enthusiastic individual to develop and implement marketing and communications strategies. Duties and responsibilities include all media communications, including press releases and advertising; developing cost-effective marketing strategies for exhibitions and public programs; managing budget for exhibition advertising and promotional printing; coordinating design and production of printed publicity materials; managing website and email list communications; assisting with planning and staffing of museum events as needed, such as Bloomsday, exhibition openings, Young Friends events, and the Rosenbacchanal.
The position requires proficiency with Mac and PC, MS Word, Excel, HTML, Quark Express, Adobe Photoshop. Minimum 2 years experience in related field; BA in marketing or communications preferred. The successful candidate will possess strong writing, editing, interpersonal, and project management skills; will be attentive to detail; and able to work both independently and in close collaboration with Development, Education and Curatorial staff on various marketing initiatives.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Desired start date is August 9.
