Managing the Pains of a Growing Business
Thursday, September 14

Business Resource and Innovation Center,
Free Library of Philadelphia
Open to the public; free for members.
Growth in business is a good thing, right? Those who are scaling their business now or have faced this opportunity in the past would likely agree, but they might also acknowledge that growth is often accompanied by “growing pains.” From learning new software and systems to managing a diverse staff to transitioning to new roles that aren’t the most comfortable fit at first, growing businesses face many challenges.
In this program, Kate Strathmann of Elysian Fields will moderate a discussion with several SBN members about their evolution through the different phases of their business and how the growth they have experienced has shaped the state of their business now, as well as who they are as business owners.
You will come away from the program better equipped to handle the often unexpected hurdles that come along with the joys of growth and success.
