Managing Director of Early Learning, United Way of Greater Phila and SJ

The Managing Director of Early Learning (“MD”) will collaboratively work within the regional ecosystem of early learning initiatives, identifies potential investments in high-performing organizations that are able to demonstrate measurable impact in educational outcomes. The MD will lead a team of specialists to execute all aspects of United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey’s investments in early learning.
This is a senior leadership position for an entrepreneurial and highly collaborative education specialist who will work within the regional ecosystem of early learning initiatives, setting strategy, building regional partnerships with early learning providers focused on poverty reduction, and assessing impact.
This position will report to the Chief Strategy Officer and will collaborate with the following senior colleagues: Managing Director, Civic Engagement; Managing Director, Financial Empowerment; Managing Director, Capacity Building; and Managing Director, Employment Opportunities & Entrepreneurship.
