Disability Rights Network – Manager, Protection and Advocacy of Individual Rights Program
The Disability Rights Network of Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Manager for its Protection and Advocacy of Individual Rights program.
Applicants should have a sound understanding and awareness of emergent and current issues important to persons with disabilities as well as well developed experience advocating for public policy and systems operations change.
Applicants should also possess experience in working with networks in the physical, sensory and/or cognitive disability communities and knowledge of the legal rights of people with disabilities.
The successful applicant will supervise advocates, work collaboratively with attorneys and DRN’s policy director, and be responsible for managing program budget and report writing. A relevant undergraduate degree is expected along with additional education and/or work experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Life experience with disability is a plus.
