Manager of Alumni Community Building, Teach for America Greater Philadelphia

Teach For America – Greater Philadelphia seeks a Manager of Alumni Community Building to ensure the ~1400 Teach For America corps members and alumni in Greater Philadelphia stay connected to education efforts and movements in the region. While this work will focus broadly on this group of 1400 corps members and alums, it will more specifically emphasize working with alums not directly in education-related fields and who didn’t teach in Philadelphia and second year corps members committed to continuing to work in Philadelphia at the end of their corps commitment. The Manager of Alumni Community Building will help ensure these groups of alumni and corps members better understand the region, see and support the possibility for all kids to attain an excellent education, and improve their abilities to work in partnership with families and communities to achieve educational equity. The Manager will report to the Managing Director, Alumni Affairs.
