AGENCY OVERVIEW AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Big Brothers Big Sisters Southeastern PA is the largest BBBS agency in the State and the third largest in the nation; with a current annual budget of $5.5 million dollars. Our rapidly growing, progressive organization places great value on continuous improvement and staff engagement as we strive to provide quality “one to one” mentoring services for youth. As such, we currently seek a Manager of Corporate Partnerships to expand our corporate relationships and fundraising efforts. Reporting to the Director of Development, this position will also have the responsibility of working with management across Agency divisions in an effort to help us meet our strategic goals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the financial aspects/relationships of all current Beyond School Walls (Work Place Mentoring) programs while actively cultivating new businesses for partnership within this program.
- Manage all aspects of BBBS SEPA’s participation in the PA EITC (Education Improvement Tax Credit) program, assuring all application requirements are submitted on-time annually.
- Create a marketing strategy around the EITC program to promote to new potential corporate donors.
- Work with Director of Development and Special Events Manager to create and execute plans to secure, cultivate, and steward corporate and in-kind sponsorships, individual donors and Big Stories Breakfast table hosts to meet fundraising goals
- As part of the team, assist with event invitation lists, attendance lists and necessary follow-up, and on-site management of events logistics.
- Maintain event donor history, attendance, and other event-related information in E-Tapestry
- Under the Director of Development recruit, manage, motivate, train and mentor event volunteers/committees to work as a team and as advocates for the department with a priority of increasing additional community awareness and philanthropic support.
- Working with the Special Events Manager, create and manage event budgets and timelines. Meet revenue goals for all agency events.
- Responsible for sponsor benefit fulfillment and implementing marketing and communication strategies working along with the Special Events Manager and Marketing Department.
- Interact with the Board, corporate partners, community leaders and key external “influencers” to strategically engage them in all appropriate aspects of relationship cultivation and development.
- Coordinate all activities related to corporate donor solicitation and stewardship, including proposals, annual appeals, reports, and other materials as needed.
