Session I: Making Room for Daddy
February 25, 2003
8:30 am-12:30 pm
Drexel University, Behrakis Hall
3210 Chestnut Street
Philadelphia, PA
Baby makes three! It’s time to talk about “making room for daddy,” so he doesn’t feel like the third wheel. The role transition to fatherhood can be challenging. Research shows that flexible and creative strategies that promote father involvement are critical to strengthen families and support child well-being. How have public policies helped or hindered men’s transitions into fatherhood roles? This session will explore current research and policy development, and showcase model fatherhood programs. Conference Fee: $40.00
