Making Food Drives More Meaningful & Effective
Wednesday, November 12 at 7:30pm Eastern
1 in 5 kids in America face hunger. One of the most popular ways to help end childhood hunger is by organizing food drives; YSA and Sodexo Foundation want to help you make your food drives more meaningful and effective. During this webinar, we’ll share strategies to engage youth as food drive leaders and help them have fun while making a difference, ideas for overcoming common food drive challenges, and how you can take action during National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week (November 15-23, 2014). Speakers include:
Maria Belding – Co-Author of Fighting for Food: A Guide to Running Successful Food Drives in High School
Will Lourcey – 11-year-old Founder of FROGs (Friends Reaching Our Goals)
Julia Chambers – Marketing Coordinator at National Coalition for the Homeless
