We are pleased to share with you the practice brief — Making College Access a Priority at Four-Year Colleges and Universities. The brief Document is available for download (.pdf) is intended for college and university leaders who are committed to equity and concerned that higher education in the United States is no longer a vehicle of upward mobility in our nation. Please share it with your trustees, faculty and senior administrators.
The authors of the brief, Dr. Arnold Mitchem, President-emeritus of COE, and Dr. Joan Becker, Vice-Provost for Academic Support Services and Undergraduate Studies at the University of Massachusetts-Boston, will be conducting a workshop at COE’s Annual Conference in San Diego Wednesday, August 31, for institutional teams committed to strengthening access programming on their campuses.
