Making Cents: Financial Literacy and Economic Education webinars

The final Making Cents: Financial Literacy and Economic Education webinars for this school year are coming up on April 25th. These free online professional development programs are offered through a partnership between the Pennsylvania Department of Education and Penn State University and are be offered at two times to accommodate various schedules: 3:00pm – 4:30pm and 6:30pm – 8:00pm.
The April 25th sessions will feature the following topics and speakers: New Film from the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia by Andrew Hill of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia Protecting Your Personal Information by Susan Sharkey of the National Endowment for Financial Education New National Standards in Personal Finance by Andrew Hill of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia

The training will be conducted completely online. All you need to attend is a computer with Internet access and speakers or headphones to hear the presenters. Each session will include the same three presenters; however, the content may vary slightly based on participant “Q&A.” Participants will be granted two hours of Act 48 credit for their participation in each webinar. If you have any questions about the webinars (content, how to participate, etc.), please do not hesitate to let me know.
