Posted by TechGirlz on February 19, 2018
FEBRUARY 24 @ 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Event run by the Blackwell Library Adult/Teen Department. Please email Conita Pierson with any questions. Thank you!
Some of life’s most important skills include teamwork, problem solving, and organization. It is these three skills that are fundamental to using WordPress. Whether you think one day you and your friends will have a brand that you want to promote or you simply want to start your own blog, learning WordPress now will help get you ready to share with the world!
In this workshop, students will create their own website using WordPress. They will learn how to set up a WordPress.com website and add their own content via web pages and posts. We will also customize their website using the theme, menu and widget features in WordPress.
Note: The workshop will be held in a computer lab, please ask the front desk. Devices and snacks will be provided.
