Maintenance I Technician, People’s Emergency Center

The Maintenance I Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical condition and appearance of People’s Emergency Center (PEC) sites. Assist in the organization, coordination and management of the overall maintenance programs including all aspects of property appearance and maintenance. Must provide timely housekeeping services, along with the cost-effective inventory control of all supplies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform building(s) area maintenance daily
- Clean offices and bathrooms daily
- Maintenance care of all PEC ground site(s)
- Clean, strip and wax all vacant units for occupancy
- Replace, and stock supplies when needed to all PEC sites
- Transport of any PEC items to various PEC sites
- Some light repair work needed on beds, light fixtures and other small work orders
- Report and perform all work orders according to safety standard guidelines
- Promote good public relations and cooperative behavior with residents, co-workers and the public
