COME AND JOIN US FOR A FULL EVENING OF FUN ACTIVITIES FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!
WHAT: Lutheran Settlement House?s Open House and Movie Night
WHEN: Friday, August 12, 2005
TIME: from 5pm to 10pm
LOCATION: 1340 Frankford Ave, in Fishtown.
The event will be free of charge and open to the public.
Throughout the evening, you will:
Learn more about the Lutheran Settlement House?s services to families and community members;
Enjoy the unveiling of a mosaic mural created and donated by participants from Big Picture, a year-long mural-training opportunity provided by the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program for youth between the ages of 10 and 18;
Watch free movies from ScribeVideoCenter?s Street Movies series, a free outdoor neighborhood-based screening series; (SHOW STARTS AT 8:30)
Buy crafts from Ten Thousand Villages;
Music from B101, face painting, animal balloons;
Enjoy free popcorn and refreshments, and much more!
Lutheran Settlement House is a non-profit, non-sectarian social service organization that serves over 18,000 women, men, and children each year through four program areas: Adult Education and Employment, Domestic Violence, Senior Services, and Homeless Services.
