Looking for training resources for out-of-school time staff
Posted by on April 23, 2007
Representatives from the out-of-school time (OST) community are working to coordinate regional trainings for staff. A long-term goal is to create a training and professional development network in which there is conservation and efficiency of resources, cross-fertilization, and maximum utilization of adept trainers and quality offerings.
As a first step, we need your help identifying trainings and/or training providers from the College Prep community (offerings should be targeted for staff). Entities serving various sectors having already contributed to this step include:
Department of Human Services(DHS)
EducationWorks
Free Library of Philadelphia (FLP)
Nonprofit Center at LaSalle University
Pennsylvania Council of Children, Youth, and Family Services (PCCYFS)
Philadelphia Youth Network (PYN)
School District of Philadelphia (SDP)
United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania (UWSEPA)
Please contact John Price with any relevant information at [email protected] or 215-898-0793, or Nancy Peter at [email protected] or 215.898-0793.
