We invite you to join us at our Local Food Systems Symposium, December 2-3, 2008 at UC Davis! REGISTER NOW at: http://sarep.ucdavis.edu/cdpp/lfs08/.
The conference will include provocative keynote speakers Paul Muller, innovative organic grower, and
co-owner of Fully Belly Farm; and Michael Dimock, president of Roots of Change, an alliance of leaders and
institutions working to create a sustainable food system in California by 2030. Hear how Cooperative Extension and community-based leaders have collaborated on innovative food systems projects throughout California and what we’ve learned. The projects were funded by the statewide UC Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program (SAREP), an affiliate of the UC Davis Agricultural Sustainability Institute (ASI). Other event co-sponsors are the UC Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) California Communities Program, and North Coast and Mountain Region. For more information about SAREP’s food systems programs, take a lookat our Web site at http://www.sarep.ucdavis.edu/cdpp/.
