We have a new bonus episode of the Live The Legacy Podcast available now! Read by our Director of Programs, Caroline Smith, this bonus episode provides unique insights into the events of Freedom Summer 1964. Freedom Summer 1964, or the Mississippi Summer Project, was a voter registration drive aimed at increasing the number of registered Black voters in Mississippi. Andrew Goodman, James Earl Chaney, and Michael Schwerner were all volunteers of Freedom Summer 1964.
